At Columbia Life Network, we connect Columbia Borough residents and those in nearby communities with the help and hand up they need to overcome life’s challenges.

Whether it’s applying for assistance to help you meet your basic needs, getting affordable medical care, or gaining knowledge and skills to provide for yourself and your family, we can direct you to the organizations and programs that can help. And when support can’t be found for a certain need, we jump in to build programs to fill the void.

While some organizations have a limited or inflexible range of services, we stay nimble and adjust what we do according to what’s missing in our community.

Columbia Life Network’s services are absolutely FREE and fully accessible to everyone in our community, regardless of income.*

*Community Life Network’s services are free of charge, but there may be application or other fees associated with the services of other organizations with whom we connect clients.

Community Building

Not only do we link community members with resources that offer the services that can help, we also partner with various local organizations to answer unfulfilled needs.

Our community partnerships, programs, and initiatives include:

Pressley Ridge Behavioral/Mental Health Services
For approximately 10 years, we’ve worked with Pressley Ridge to bring behavioral and mental health services to the Columbia community on-site, in our office.

Family First Health Services
Through our alliance with Family First Health Services, we help bring primary health care to community members of all ages.

CHI St. Joseph’s Children’s Health Columbia Dental Center
Our partnership with CHI St. Joseph’s Children’s Health Columbia Dental Center allows youth without dental insurance to get the quality dental services they need.

Power Packs Project
This program feeds nearly 150 families (almost 600 people) throughout the school year. Community Life Network handles the fundraising responsibilities for this volunteer-run initiative that’s made possible by Columbia Church of God and various other local churches.

School Supply Drives
Community Life Network joined forces with the Columbia Elks Lodge and other organizations to make sure our area’s schools and students have the supplies they need. We help organize the drives for supplies and raise funds to support the program. Over the summer and during National Night Out we collect markers, crayons, pens, pencils, notebooks, etc., at a trailer dedicated to the cause. Supplies and funds collected go to public and private schools in our local community and to CAP Head Start. We also provide supplies and funds to schools on an as-needed basis throughout the school year.

GED Program
We are currently working to bring a GED program back to Columbia, so residents without a diploma can complete their high school education requirements.

At Community Life Network, we put resources and knowledge together to address challenges in the Columbia community. Call or email us today to take the first step in finding the help you need!
